July 4th is almost here! Are you ready to party like its 1776? With plenty of food, family, and fireworks, Sun Valley is the perfect place to celebrate Independence Day! The party doesn't have to stop on the 4th, though. With plenty of patriotic events and attractions, you can celebrate all July long!
The city of Hailey will host their annual Days of the Old West Independence Day celebration from July 2nd until the 5th. It will be full of fun, including a huge parade, an antique fair, rodeo shows, fireworks, and more. This is the best 4th of July celebration in the west! Don't miss it!

The Sun Valley Museum of History covers a huge amount of local history. A part of the community library, this museum showcases rotating exhibits that cover topics such as ski history, Ernest Hemingway in Idaho, regional historical events, and the documentation of cultural change.

The Ore Wagon Museum is a local heritage location that is home to ore wagons donated to the City by the Lewis family. The massive Lewis Ore Wagons at this museum are the only of their kind in existence. Just east of the Ore Wagon Museum is Bonning Cabin- a former bunkhouse for ore wagon freight crews.
