From festive events to holiday carols, cookies and hot cocoa, the entire town embraces the welcome of winter and the holiday season. Monday, December 24th, Christmas Eve Celebration
Skating in a Winter Wonderland Ice Show, Dollar Torchlight Parade & Fireworks
The ice show is highlighting classic holiday music. Featuring performances by Frank Sweiding and Anita Hartshom, Ashley Clarke, and other professional skaters. Group numbers are performed by the Figure Skating Club in Sun Valley, along with visiting holiday guests. Santa Clause will also make an appearance, along with the Sun Valley Carolers. The Dollar torchlight parade and fireworks will follow.

Time: Gates open at 3:00 pm, show starts at 5:30 pm
Tuesday, December 25th, Christmas Day
The whole family will enjoy skiing at Sun Valley. As most people are unwrapping presents, sipping hot cocoa and delighting by the fire, others are enjoying the somewhat empty slopes. Christmas Day is a great time to ski. You may even see Santa Clause swooshing down the mountain.
