The 2020/21 ski season is fast approaching and resorts are beginning to gear up in anticipation. Travelers alike, are planning early this year, getting head starts on booking lodging deals, gear rental, and passes.

Getting Here

Sun Valley Airport, only located 12 miles outside of town is your best option for flying in. Daily non-stop destinations include Denver, Seattle, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco and, Salt Lake City. If you need more options, Boise Airport offers many more flights and is located around 2.5 hours away.

Get a headstart on lodging

First time in Sun Valley or seasoned visitor? Either way, ski areas are advising guests to book early and secure their accommodations. With the uncertainly this winter, most companies are offering flexible bookings to ensure you and your family are covered.

Sun Valley and the surrounding areas offer multiple areas to stay in, all within close proximity to the ski resort. Choose between the Warm Springs area, The town of Ketchum, Sun Valley or, Elkhorn Village.

Wherever you choose, Sun Valley offers a free bus system to get you around to many destinations including Dollar and Bald Mountain, Sun Valley Resort, and Ketchum Town Square.
